About Us
Though we gladly serve anyone who walks through our doors, Atelier Eliza Coffee and Tea is a tea parlor and light restaurant in the Lavender Beds operated by sapphics and for sapphics.Originally the Black Lotus Teahouse, its former owner Ceridwen gave Eliza Blanchimont the ownership of the tea salon. Atelier Staff
Some of the staff of the Atelier have been on since before it even was the Atelier, while others have come to work for Eliza since the Atelier opened its doors in the Shroud. From outcasts to wide-eyed newcomers to Eorzea, Eliza has brought together a reliable and loyal team to run her Atelier.
Eliza Blanchimont
Owner
Eliza took over ownership of what is now Atelier Eliza Coffee and Tea during her training as a courtesan with the Bandee Pakshee and has carried on the spirit of original owner Ceridwen, blending warm public services with spicy private ones. Eliza has since also become a full-fledged courtesan and Priestess of Menphina, celebrating connection in all its forms.
Korrine Abel
Manager
A Feol viera fresh from the Wood, Korrine has an aptitude for Spoken relations, being outgoing and kind. Korrie, as she likes to be called, is young for any viera, but particularly the long-lived Feol. She's happy to serve as the Atelier's institutional memory in the long haul, and is a real charmer in her own right. She's a little naive and seems innocent, but don't be fooled.
Natalie Aramarr
Manager
Natalie is one of the most dedicated people to both Atelier Eliza and its precursor at Black Lotus Teahouse. A half-Veena half-Rava, Natalie has found belonging with the company and the Blanchimonts in particular, and the Atelier's community as a whole. "Mom Nat" is even a partner of Eliza's mother Iris. Today she helps manage the logistical side of the Atelier.

Ayleth Ymir

Another Feol, also young and a little naive, Ayleth is a dedicated student of the ways of the aetheric world, and a worshipper of the Moon (not Menphina, the Moon itself). She seeks to study the vastness of the unexplored and unexplained of magic. Sheltered as a child, Ayleth, or Ayly, can be a little awkward or confused at times, adding to how cute she is.

Nadie Maldenada
Procurement Specialist
Born in Shaaloani and living in the Hanu city in Kozama'uka with her wife Ellis, Nadie is a retired bounty hunter turned friend and guide to the Blanchimont family. She's a capible survivalist and adventurer who helps Atelier Eliza obtain exotic ingredients from around the Star. Nadie has been known as "the witch hunter" in her past, though disputes that title.

A unique blend symbolizing Eliza's mother's recent ventures. Yak T'el beans are used for their nutty sweetness and the chocolate notes added by roasting, and blended with a shot of Ishgardian espresso. Served black or with cream.
AE's Shaaloani Dawn Coffee
From our procurement specialist Nadie comes a recipe for the coffee she needs to deal with Blanchimonts. She uses a blend of beans from Lapis Valley known for their citrus notes, enhanced with a little splash of orange flavor.

AE's Frozen Moon Chai Tea
A blend using our own masala chai blend with a creamy vanilla butternut twist, served in a milkshake-like state. It's symbolic of Eliza herself, an Ishgardian trained as a Hannish-style courtesan and worshipping Menphina.
AE's Skatay Sunset Tea
Front-of-house manager Korrine Abel is neither a Blanchimont nor an alchemist, but she has a mastery of tea all the same. Her personal blend is a cinnamon and orange peel tea with a splash of orange juice and honey.

Violet's Crispy Parm Carrots
Lady Violet was obsessed with carrots. To honor her, the Atelier takes sections of carrot, cut and glazed in parmesan cheese, garlic, olive oil, and herbs before being baked to a delicious golden... orange.
Nicole's Candied Meat
Nikki wasn't much of a Lady. She might've been the family's first Miqo'te! She was downrright carnivorous, so in her memory we have an appetizer of pork belly cooked at high heat to release natural sugars into a flavorful crust.
Merurulince's Fried Mushrooms
Aunt Meruru is an alchemist through-and-through! She even created her own batter with effervescent water for fried Enchanted Mushroom caps to make the coating extra crispy! Mushrooms fascinate her, and so does our snack!
Shallotte's Alchemy Candy
Treading the fine line between a snack and a dessert makes sense for Lady Shallotte, who is as much a witch as an alchemist. Made purely with alembic, Alchemy Candy is a sweet hard candy with light flavor.

Marlone's Fried Golden Salmon
Legend has it the woman who earned the Blanchimont noble title, Lady Marie, was an absolute fiend for the extinct Clearwater Lake Golden Salmon. We've found a replacement for her fish and added a bit of honey and an air fryer.
Totooria's Seared Snowcaller
Aunt Totori is another big fan of fish, in particular the Snowcaller Trout! We take freshly-caught trout from the Coerthas Highlands and brush on a wide range of herbs before grilling. We add fresh oranges for that citrus edge.
Escha's Apple Brie Chicken
Lady Escha loves apples. She could eat them for every meal... and probably does. So we took sweet apples and brie cheese, add a little maple syrup, and bake it inside a chicken breast seasoned with thyme and garlic.
Sophie's Hot Popoto Stew
Lady Sophie was never good at handling Ishgard's cold, so she loved a warm popoto stew! We puree part of the soup to add creaminess, add in cheese, bacon and chives and more cream, then add a little chili powder for extra heat.
Elmerulia's Curry Pie
Lady Lulua inherited her mother Rorona's affection for pie, but her true passion is Bandee Pakshee curry. As an alchemist, she combined the two into this flaky, delicious chicken curry pot pie using the Pakshee's own spices.
Yumia's Bomb Curry
Sharing Lady Lulua's obsession with curry is the adventurous archeological alchemist Lady Yumia. We start woth Bandee Pakshee curry, adding garlic, ginger, and grenade ash. Lady Yumia suggests the Bomb-shaped bread bowl.

Rorolina's Philosopher Pie
Aunt Rorona is technically an alchemist, but she barely touches her alembic anymore. She prefers baking pies, and this is her crowning achievement: pie so packed with fruit flavors it's the Philosopher's Stone of baking.
Firis' Croquembouche
One of the most aggressively Ishgardian women in the family, Lady Firis loves this Ishgardian Starlight-season dessert. Choux pastry puffs are piled into a cone and threaded together with caramel creating this towering confection.
Suelle's Puni Jelly
A name for pet slimes in the family is Puni, Lady Suelle's jelly definitely brings their spirit to the table. We start with a blue raspberry jelly and coat it with powdered sugar, adding light garnishes. Even eyes. It's probably not alive.
Reisalin's Cocktail Leb
Lady Ryza was an interesting sort. Discontent with Starlight Fruitcake, she invented the Cocktail Leb; a soft spongecake topped with a wide array of fresh fruit. We'll ship this anywhere in the Star during Starlight in her honor.
Our Services
An 'atelier' is a workshop. While commonly associated with fashion, the alchemists of House Blanchimont have long called their workshops Ateliers as well. Though we focus mostly on food and drink at Atelier Eliza, we are a more fully-functional institue of alchemy than it may, at first, appear.We also have a small host of after-hours services available. Outside standard hours, our capible and adventurous staff can bring you a Frozen Moon Chai and Bomb Curry on a hard day, or save your romantic picnic with all the carrots and Puni jelly you can stand.
The service is free, but tips are encouraged!
Advanced Alchemical Synthesis
The alchemical techniques of House Blanchimont are uniquely robust, often breaking down substances to their constituent aether and applying arcanima and a little sparkle of raw creation magic to make a slightly more variable form than traditional Hannish or Ul'dahni alchemy. As a result, Blanchimont alchemists as as much artists as scientists and capible of feats of alchemical design other approaches may find challenging. Combined with traditional alchemical training or with Ishgardian engineering, our alchemical solutions are more than solvents, they're answers.
After-Hours Resources
We've had an edge since our Black Lotus days. Open hours can sometimes be a tease for what can be on the menu after the kitchen closes. We have several back rooms set aside for our patrons to engage in safe, sane, and consensual fun that are available by appointment or after the last meal's served. Our owner is a Menphina priestess, she's more than willing to enable our guests. We do ask that in public areas, there's at least one article of clothing on at all times, and we ask that our guests be tasteful and accommodating of one another's quality evening. Don't push for access, pull away to a back room.
A Feast Reborn
Atelier Eliza is proud to participate in the fourth annual A Feast Reborn, and is bringing a limited menu to the event, including some quick and fun festival foods as well as to-go cups of our house-roasted coffee and house tea.
